Michael Reese
Founding Attorney
Trial-Tested. Client-Focused. Results-Driven.
With more than 26 years of courtroom experience, I’ve spent my legal career fighting for individuals and families inside the courtroom, at the negotiating table, or before administrative agencies. My journey began as an Assistant State Attorney, where I tried more than 160 jury and bench trials to verdict. I prosecuted cases ranging from simple misdemeanors to capital homicides, honing my litigation skills in some of Florida’s most high-stakes criminal trials.
I was later promoted to Lead Prosecutor for the Economic Crime, White-Collar, and Elder Exploitation Division. In that role, I was entrusted with the responsibility of protecting the most vulnerable members of our community—those targeted by fraud, abuse, and financial exploitation. I supervised the prosecution and worked closely with law enforcement and state agencies to hold perpetrators accountable and secure justice for victims.
Later, I shifted my focus to the defense side—representing individuals, families, and injury victims across Florida. Today, my practice focuses on family law and criminal defense, where my courtroom experience and strategic insight enable me to protect what matters most: your rights, your freedom, and your future.
Your rights matter, and I am here to fight for you and your family.
My Core Practice Areas:
Criminal Defense – From DUI and drug charges to violent felonies and white-collar crimes, I bring unmatched trial experience to defend your liberty. I understand how prosecutors build their cases—because I was one. That insight now works for you.
Family Law – Whether facing divorce, child custody battles, alimony disputes, or post-judgment modifications, I advocate fiercely for your family’s best interests. These are emotional cases that require not just legal skill, but compassion and clarity.
Personal Injury – In car crashes, trucking accidents, and premises liability cases, I fight for full and fair compensation. You don’t get a second chance at justice after an injury, so we make sure to get it right the first time.
Workers’ Compensation – I protect the rights of injured workers who are often left behind by their employers or the system meant to protect them.
Civil Litigation – From breach of contract to business disputes and beyond, I handle complex cases in both state and federal courts.
Social Security Disability (SSDI) – As a former partner at a national firm representing the disabled, I led the SSDI department and built a process that now serves clients in all 50 states. We give claimants the best possible chance of success by thoroughly preparing their cases and matching the government's resources with our own.
